1a. Pharmacology is the branch of medicine concerned with the uses, effects, and modes of action of drugs.
1b. Drug to drug interaction occurs when two or more drugs interact when administered together. This result can be synergistic (the desired effect is increased) or antagonistic (the desired effect is decreased) and some of the drug interactions can be fatal also . For example - MAOI and SSRI should not be given together as there interaction cause fatal effects ,either monoamine oxidase inhibitors should be stopped 14days before you start selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and vice versa.
1c).Drugs affects Immune system in two ways :-
- immunosuppressive
- immunostimulants
Examples of immunosuppressive drugs are corticosteroid ,antimetabolites etc
Examples of immunostimulant drugs are vaccines , immunoglobulins etc
1d). Pain management - for pain management the first step is to assess the pain using pain scale and then administration of medications according to the pain score .
The medications given for pain are called analgesics . Two main classification of analgesics are NSAIDS and opioids.
Examples of NSAIDS ( non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs ) - flexible , ibuprofen
Examples of opioids - heroin , morphine etc

Explore the scientific feld of human factors and how errors like tubing misconnections can be prevented. 2. Discuss the complexity of having two patients to treat, a mother and her fetus. 3. Describe suitable...
I am currently trying to figure out the experiment below. Please complete Table 1 with an explanation, I appreciate it thank you! Promise to give thumbs up! Introduction The phase differences between the output voltage, the voltage across the inductor, the voltage across the capacitor, and the voltage across the resistor will be examined at resonant frequency. The voltage and phase relationship will also be examined for frequencies above and below resonance. Theory An inductor, a capacitor, and a resistor are...
