The average adult temperature ranges
Oral:Though the average normal temperature is 98.6°F or 37°C.The ranges from 97°F (36.1°C)to 99°F (37.2°C) are considered to be normal due to wide reasons.
Tympanic:The tympani temperatureis usually 0.5°F to 1°F (0.3°C to 0.6°C) higher than the oral temperature. That is the temperature may range from 97.5°F yo 99.5°F or 98°F to 100°F
Axillary:The temperature may range from 96.6°F (36.9°C) to 98°F (36.7°C)
Rectal :This temperature is also higher by 0.5°F to 1°F (97.5°F to 100°F)
Temporal:Also calked as forehead temperature measurement. This is usually 0.5°F to 1°F lower than oral temperature. So it ranges from 96°F to 98°F
