1)Sikhism neither follows Hinduism nor Muslimism.It is purely based on the belief on life,spirit and death or simply called as life cycle.

Some of the thing which keep them unique from others are as following

• Kesh also called as unshron long hair which is protected by turban in male.Women cover their hair when they enter gurudwara as a tribute and respect to the God
• A small wooden comb also calked as kangha to comb their hair twice a day
• A iron bangle also called as Kara is worn on their hand
• A special under garment calked Kachera is worn by men and women
• Kirpan is a short dagger usually received after taking am fit
• They have a tradition of not cutting hair from their body even for cosmetic practices.hIt is even followed today
• They follow Guru Granth Sahib as a living guru.They take care of it as a living being and keeping the holy Guru Granth as a priority on all good deeds for example in a Marriage

It can be differentiated from other religion by the way of their prayers ,they have no idols of God ,Images or views to follow. In Gurudwara any type of religion persons are allowed to come and offer their prayer.

2) Sikhism being the worlds 5the largest religion followed worldwide. It is because that all are one when they bow in front of God.There are many challenges faced by the Sikhism religious followers. Some are as following

• Sikh childrens in American Schools are segregated due to their physical appearance. This has changed gradually over time with education.
• Dress code of the Sikhs are not allowed and encouraged by US government
• The right to worship sometime forms a great thing to consider and now it has been made simpler where everyone especially students go to Gurudwara
• Overtime they have achieved civil liberty not only in the work place but also in the society.
• It has over come the challenge by a good blending with the American heritage
• Sikh day parade in Newyork city has given them the confidence of living in a non native place who supports them
