Answer #1

Answer: Headache can be side effects of medication or due to migraine etc. There are any factors which causes headache. Headache occurs when dilation of extra cranial blood vessels activates the pain receptor in the nerve.

The subjective data includes that the severity of the headache, kind of headache, parts affected by the headache can be informed by the patient to the nurse.

The nurse should intervene about the symptoms and reason of headache. The portion of the head which is severely affected with pain. Nurse should ask the patient about the medical history as well as about any kind of stress doe he have. Because stress of workload also causes severe headache.

These symptoms may cause problem in normal life living as due to headache the patient will be unable to concentrate on his normal life. Headache may become more severe if not treated.
