Answer: There are more deaths of infants during sleep. There are many reasons for the sudden death of the infants during sleep. In the United States 3500 infants dies every year due to sudden sleep death. This sudden death in sleep is known as sudden unexpected infant death.
These factors effects the mortality rate of infants. Many factors also contributes to the sudden death of infants such as the environmental condition where infant is sleeping or the position he is sleeping. The racial differences and ethnic population also contributes disparities.
