Case 1 Detox Care Unit Discharge Summary Patient: Zack J. Johns Age: 42 Zack was brought in by ambulance. He was at a party and had been drinking vodka for 4 hours and then passed out. He began to vomit, and witnesses said that it looked like “he might have had a seizure” but they were not sure. Zack's wife accompanied him to the emergency room and said that Zack does have a drinking problem and thinks he should be admitted for detoxification.
