patient instruction:
1, Ask patient sit on the bed or chair.
2,Hold the incentive spirometer at eye level in a upright position
3,Put the mouth piece in your mouth and close your lips around it.
4,Breathe in slowly as deep as possible..make sure yellow piston rising toward the top of the column..The yellow indicator should reach the blue outlines area.
5,Hold breath as much as possible,then exhale slowly and allow piston to comedown to the bottom.
6, Take rest for few seconds and repeat steps 10times every hours.
