A condition in which the blood does not have enough healthy red blood cells.

Decrease in the total amount of red blood cells or hemoglobin in the blood or a lowered ability of the blood to carry oxygen

1) Anemia caused by decreased or faulty red blood cell production ( abnormal red blood cells or lack of minerals and vitamins needed for red blood cells ro work properly)

  • Sickle cell anaemia
  • Iron deficiency anaemia
  • Vitamin deficiency anaemia
  • Bone marrow stem cell problems - Aplastic anaemia and Thalassemia
