Actually, in Tylenol overdose, cytochrome P450 produces N-acetyl-p-benzoquinoneimine (NAPQI), which depleted the glutathione and then covalently binds to hepatocytes to produce cellular injury and death. But when the level of glutathione is managed by oral administration, the patient’s condition is improved.
