Answer: We generally administer antiemetic drug as soon as nausea develops, as this will adequately control your symptoms. It is recommended to use antiemetic prior to chemotherapy so that nausea may not occur. Antiemetic is generally given 30 mins prior to chemotherapy to stop or prevent nausea.
