Is this a case control study or a cohort study?

A family reunion for the Smith family was held at a local park pavilion. 24 hours after the reunion, 43 people suddenly became sick with symptoms of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. A total of 133 family members were invited through an electronic invitation. Invitees were able to decline or accept the invitation and were able to provide what food item they would bring for the potluck. The coordinator had a list of everyone who attended. Among the items served were rice pudding, hot dogs, and mashed potatoes.

In these study group of people share significant experience at certain period of time are have one are more similar characteristics, called cohort study.

Here in these study 24 hours after the reunion, 43 people suddenly become a sick and with symptoms of nausea, vomitings, and diarrhea.
