2) answer :

Infarction is tissue death ( necrosis ) due to inadequate blood supply to the affected area .

it may be caused by artery blockages , rupture , mechanical compression or vaso constriction .

The resulting lesion is referred to as an infarct .

  • The images given above showing infarct appearing pale and wedge shaped due to occlusion of renal artery lead to ischemic changes in the kidney .

3)ischemic coagulative necrosis .

4) due to atherosclerosis of right renal artery blocked the blood supply to the right kidney lead to shrinkage of right kiney appeared in above image .

Due to right kidney failure , the left kidney is doing renal functioning and adaptation is made here to maintain normal renal function.

5) answer : dark red colour is due to the haemorrhagic infarct .

Hemorrhagic infarcts commonly caused by occlusion of veins ,with red blood cells entering the area of the infarct ,or an artery occlusion of an organ with collaterates or dual circulation .

The given image shows that the patient is having ischemic stroke .

There is a necrosing of tissue due to decreased or no blood supply to that particular part of the brain.
