Answer #1

Hospital is a place where the sick and injured needs help to recover. This should be highly sophisticated and specialised with best quality care. When a potential effects happens it is beacons of poor quality of service and is in need of performance improvement

E.g.,A newly graduated nurse when assigned for a critically ill patient, will not be much aware of the disease condition practically and meet any emergent situation during the course of tretament

A physician assistant who has nil experience, at patient examination in a mass disaster can miss certain information from the patient during collection of history due to increased number of patients.

The possible outcome of the first scenario are

  • Poor patient care
  • Patients are at risk ,when the healthcare professionals are not experienced
  • Fear and anxiety can be noticed innthe newly trained nurse

This can be rectified by ensuring the nurse starts from the basics, understands and gets practical knowledge day by day ,light patient assignment, continuing nursing training can give a better optimistic outcome in patient care.
