Breasts firm, smooth, elastic without tenderness, lumps, or nodules. Areolae round, nipples protruding, symmetric, soft, pliable, smooth, and intact without discharge. Axillary lymph nodes are not palpated.

1.nurse should collect the history about breast feeding or pregnancy related questions.

Ask about any family history of breast cancer

Ask about nipple dry , sore and irrited conditions of the patient.

Ask about the duration , frequency and period of pain in the breast

Ask about any medical history is there or not

Ask about any previous breast surgical history .

Stress and anxiety

Cyclical breast pain

Advice the patient to avoid the sore , dry and merited nipples to avoid pain

Advice the patient to stop any medication for few days to get relief from the pain.

Advice them to go for scanning and screening examinations.
