Bock Title List Paragraph Project 7: Elder Care May 13, 2019 1) The family and staff support is very essential for the care of old adults because this support helps them not to feel alone or dependent. Staffs must be well educated and motivated to create good care settings and wellness activities 2) Old adults need social involvement because it makes them feel the part of society so that the center should provide social interaction and health activities in social settings 3) As we know, old adults experience lack of brain capability so that it is very important to organize metal activity classes. Brain games, Yoga, and Meditation can help them to live a healthy life The center should be caring and sensitive about the seniors and support them actively, social interaction, mental activities, other outdoor activities will be better for moral and social support 4) 5) 3 Q)-Cognitive activity and training stimulates the brain and helps to develop and grow new connections as we age. The more we challenge the mind (through different forms of mental exercise), the better it is at processing information The cognitive activities are: 1) WORD GAMES-Word games serve as effective and fun ways to engage the mind. It helps to improve memory, word recall and other functions in the brain. 2) READING:-Books and Magazines can still engage them and keep th brain active. Reading sparks imagination and forces the brain to create images to match the words written on the paper, making it one of the most effective ways to exercise the brain. Also, reading a good book or novel 3) CHESS AND STRATEGY GAMES. The Games such as chess can stimulate multiple parts of the brain while helping in our education -It helps to prevent Alzheimer's and other forms of demential .Exercise both sides of the brain and increases the brains 10 Increasing concentration, memory and helps increase our creativity ng too. Social support for the elderly :

Social support is very essential for the elderly, like during in communication, any physical activities, and during in any functions the social support is important.

By this the elderly people can improve the interactions among population and decreases the anxiety and depression, and cognitive health may be increases.

Social activities like participating in functions, walking with friends, playing indoor games like chess ect, and gardening ect.

All these social activities interactions may improves the health status of elderly, we should allow them in all these, then only they can physically and mentally well.

And we should not despair in that activities.

Cognitive activities like doing meditation and yoga puzzles playing, reading books may encourage the elderly people to maintain their brain in active state, it may leads to that elderly people are active in their daily activities.

We need to help the elderly people during in daily living activities like eating, walking, bathing, dressing, coombing ect.

So that we can reduces the injuries and falls of the elderly and they can get some what help and they feel happy during in life.
