For this project I want you to design a nursing center that will be able to address the needs of the senior population.Be creative in naming your facility and addressing the cognitive and social issues that can help the senior population live their respective lives to the fullest.Be sure to address

1.Social support(family and staff interaction)(

2.Social Activities that encourage interaction and not despair

3.Cognitive activities that encourage continued use of the brain.

4.Able to deal effectively with Younger Older adults as well as the OLDER OLDER adults (

5.Mobility and assistance with daily living or IDL activtites

6.Include a link of a current nursing facility with a quick comment on two on what you liked and disliked about the facility.Mention how your facility would be a little better than this facility

Social support for the elderly :

Social support is very essential for the elderly, like during in communication, any physical activities, and during in any functions the social support is important.

By this the elderly people can improve the interactions among population and decreases the anxiety and depression, and cognitive health may be increases.

Q. No. 2. Answer :

Social activities like participating in functions, walking with friends, playing indoor games like chess ect, and gardening ect.

All these social activities interactions may improves the health status of elderly, we should allow them in all these, then only they can physically and mentally well.

And we should not despair in that activities.

Q. No. 3. Answer :

Cognitive activities like doing meditation and yoga puzzles playing, reading books may encourage the elderly people to maintain their brain in active state, it may leads to that elderly people are active in their daily activities.

Q. No. 5. Answer :

We need to help the elderly people during in daily living activities like eating, walking, bathing, dressing, coombing ect.

So that we can reduces the injuries and falls of the elderly and they can get some what help and they feel happy during in life.
