Our ability to solve problems changes as we age. From your textbook, please cite at least one way in which you learned that a person may be able to enhance their problem solving skills during a particular stage of development (i.e. Child, adolescent, adult, older adult) and give a specific example.

The problem solving skills are generally learned throughout the life and especially in all ages.The skills differ in accordance with age.

In childhood when they come across a problem, they hesitate to attempt it to solve .To overcome this parents plays a great role in helping them.The child has to first understand and accept the problem,try to find its positive and negative sides,parents to aide in providing at least 5 solutions or more to pick the best option,then the child can try to solve it.

For example : if a child faces problem in building a block,let the child be given options in building it in any form or in a particular form, provide a demo, encourage the child to see and do it and help them .This creates a cognitive thinking process with analysing capabilities and solve the difficulties.
