As the newly appointed Director of your local Senior Citizens Center, you have been tasked with transforming its structure and functions to better address the needs of your patrons. What types of assessments would you first conduct to identify the areas in need of change? What interventions will you likely put in place? What paid and unpaid roles will you use to accomplish these interventions? How are these changes consistent with the research findings about older adults health needs discussed in this course? please provide a rationale for your positions.

The types of assessment that I would conduct to identify the areas in need for change are :-

- formative assessment will help to know the points where improvement is needed and how can we improve on it

- performance based assessment will help to identify on basis of performance

- evaluative assessment will help to evaluate the the assessments done and implementation done to bring about the changes .

# The Interventions that will be put into act will be on the basis of the problems assessed . Some of the problems that I assessed that needed a change are :-

- staffs are not updated to the latest knowledge

- shortage of resources

- poor practical skills

# Implementation done are :-

- provision of training and monthly upgradation classes for the staff to be updated to the latest knowledge

- taking help from the government and other non -government organisation for proper fundings to maintain the stocks

- encouraging staffs to use evidence based practice by conducting and involving in clinical research .

# Paid roles include :-

Making availability of trainers

Availability of resources
