Answer #1

To make patients feel comfort table the reception area should reflect aspects of their cultural backgrounds whenever possible.

This is because culture plays an important part in a person’s life. Culture is the sum of beliefs, behaviours, practices and values a person follows. People formulate and lead their lives based on the cultural practises. Culture is something that has been transferred over generations from ancestors. A person values and respects his culture. It is what it teaches a person morals, values, good behaviour, compassion and meaning of life. A person transfers his cultural practices to his offspring’s. It also teaches responsibility.

As culture plays so many important roles in our lives. Reflecting different cultures in the reception as a means to show the patients that all the cultures are equal and respected makes them feel more comfortable and happier.
