AR is meant to get that how much is the strength of association of the factor is associated with the outcome.

The more high AR is the more chances of the disease are occurs in exposed groups as compared to non exposed group.

If AR% is 80% in smokers for lung cancer it means that 80% of smokers develop lung cancer as compared to those who are non smokers.
