When the patient have peripheral vascular disease decreases the blood flow to the arteries due to the fatty deposits in it.This will decreases the blood flow to the muscles especially in arms and legs.when a wound do not receive adequate circulation,it efffects deterimently on wound healing and rise the risk of infection.

Signs and symptoms:::

Pain in leg while walking,cool skin,hair will loss on legs,ulcers will form on leg

Interventions:::

1)stenting

2)angioplasty

3)Altherectomy
