The changes to be made in meal preparation to be healthier are :-

- use oils such as mustard ,olive ,coconut oils etc to cook instead of refined oils

- use less oil while cooking

- don't overboil the food

- use less spices

- use utensils which are more healthier like brass , clay products rather than stainless steel ,non stick products ,aluminium etc

- wash the fruits and vegetables thoroughly

- wash the vegetables before they are cut to avoid loss of nutrients

- avoid too much of red meats

- have salads more

- encourage to have small small frequent meal

- include fruits and nuts

- advice Briana to never skip breakfast

- Briana's mother should keep in mind to provide carbohydrates ,proteins and fat in appropriate amount as per her weight
