I have to say, much like the patients that took the survey in our discussion, if I continuously had to wait excess times at my doctors office, I would work on finding a new doctor's office. Considerably long wait times are unacceptable and very disrespectful of the patient's time. Building loyalty and trust is important in any relationship. Both of these traits help develop a good relationship between patients and doctors. The average doctor's exams lasts less than 20 minutes. Actually according to an article on PBS News Hour, it’s not unusual for primary care doctors’ appointments to be scheduled at 15-minute intervals. Some physicians who work for hospitals say they've been asked to see patients every 11 minutes. With that in mind, do you think patient wait times are so long?

Answer #1

According to my view patient waiting time is so long.

Due to changes in life style, behaviour , eating habits the diseases are increased , so patients are increased.

Then the time period is increased to consult a doctor .

And the wait times is also more.

Wait time directly implies on quality of care , organization of the hospital , quality of health professionals.

Wait time is often a part of service package rather the pre service.

They decide on the topics of discussion and when to end the process. The patient responds to the issues raised by the caregiver and acts accordingly. On the other hand, Collaborative communication involves a...

A Routine Endoscopic Procedure Our mother usually had an endoscopic procedure every 2 years. We thought that she had too many visits with her gastroenterologist. She saw the gastroenterologist about every 30 or 60 days. When we asked the physician why our mother had to come in on a continuous basis, his response was “acid reflux.” She was taking a proton pump inhibitor for her acid reflux. Our mother had an endoscopy of her upper gastrointestinal tract in September 2006....

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
