e) The crude death rate from all causes in 1000 females is = Number of deaths \div total population \times1000

                                = 43,399 \div 5,066,873 \times 1000

                                = 8.56

f) The crude death rate from heart disease per 10,000 females is = Number of deaths by heart disease \div total population \times 10,000

                           = 11,333 \div 5,066,873 \times 10,000

                           = 22.37

The crude death rate of females due to heart disease within Michigan in the year 2009 is 22.37 for 10,000 females.

g) The proportion of deaths in females = number of deaths due to heart disease \div total number of deaths \times 100

                                            = 11,333 \div 43,399 \times 100

                                            = 26.11%

The proportion of deaths caused by heart disease is 26.11% in the female population Of Michigan in the year 2009.
