CASE 1:-

1Q) What is the diagnosis?

A) Based on the case scenario by seeing the symptoms of the patient like oozing pus,enlarged lymph nodes,skin was warm and dry and taking into note of how the wound was happened .by taking this into consideration the diagnosis is WOUND SEPSIS.

2Q) How did you determine or conclude the diagnosis?

A) when the wound is infected we can see the symptoms like -expanding redness around the wound,yellowish or cloudy wound drainage,red streaking from the wound,fever and chills, nausea, vomiting diarrhea, swelling and pain around the wound.

based on the scenario we have seen most of the syptoms which are listed above based on that we conclude as wound sepsis is the diagnosis.

3Q) Possible treatments?

A) The possible treatment is -as the pus is oozing drain out the pus from the wound.

-dressing should be done to the wound

-apply bandage to cover the wound and advice the patient to keep the wound dry.

-change the dressing daily with new sterile gloves and bandage

-high prophylactic antibiotic are prescribed to the patrient.
