1. Mrs. Casey is very upeset for loosing a very close friend. The first thing being a nurse we should inform the relatives about the death of the patient.

- then we should let her cry and express her sorrow out for her loss.

- then we should make her understand the context of life where one is supposed to die if he has taken birth in this world.

- we should inform her about his actual condition

- we should make sure to let her know about his sufferings and his condition

- we should inform her that it was better for him to leave than to live in pain

- we should also make sure to not hurt her feelings by saying too much about her loss but should always talk about the gain that he got from this

- in these situations emotional and psychological counseling for the patient's family members and loved ones is very important

2. I would inform Me. Calloway that his son Mike loves him very much as a result of which he has been behaving in such a way. I will tell him that different individuals have different types of coping mechanisms for different situations where his other two sons are very good at coping and facing the reality, Mike has difficulty in doing so hence he is showing his concerns about his father in different way and moreover he loves his father very much and is about to loose him from his life to which he showing anger to the god and to this life by getting angry or being hurt or by being upset.

I would report the entire conversation with Mr. Calloway to the nurse because I want her to know about the situation that our patient whom we are dealing with is facing and may still have the feeling till the end. Hence I want her to understand his feelings and not to trigger it anytime so I will tell about my conversation with him to the nurse.

Mike is behaving the way he is because he loves his father very much and that he doesn't wants to loose him. He feels angry and hurt to let go of him and that he is not able to do anything to stop it. He is also showing the emotion which will help him to get detached from his father before he died and will be easy for him to stabilise later.

3. We can provide comfort to Mrs. Likens by saying that she is not alone and all the staff members of the hospital are her family members. Also we can ask her family members to be around her throughout her time and to assure her that they are her family and she is not alone. We can tell her that her siblings children are her children and that they love her like their own mother.
