a. Professionalism is one of the attitudes helpful to approach the patient in the right way. Professionalism is the set of behaviors used to address the patient in the right manner to achieve optimum outcomes. The nurse has to communicate with the mother effectively in order to achieve the trust of the patient, Approaching the newborn mother with dignity, respect, and kindness increases the patient cooperation which improves the outcomes.

b. Problem-solving is defined as an immediate response to a particular situation in order to obtain possible solutions. It is one of the essential skills used by the nurse for good clinical judgment. The nurse can analyze the attitudes, and a negative belief of mother regarding the motherhood and respond appropriately to make possible solutions for the mother.
