Answer #1

There are many arguments running for and against medical marijuana. Most of the states given approval for marijuana use. But still, it is considered as illegal from the federal government perspective. Policy makers need to reverse the policy to legalize medical marijuana for appropriate use. In my view, I accept the use of marijuana for medical purposes, because clinical studies show that it improves the quality of life. Comparing to opioid, it is safer to use.

In regard to the protection of public health, the social policy does not legalize the recreational use of marijuana. Because it affects the health of adolescents and increases social threat and violence. I am against the use of marijuana for recreational purpose, because it produces more harm to the public. It increases addiction, illegal business, road-traffic accident. It affects the person both physically and mentally. So it should be discouraged and strong legal implications should be made against the recreational use.
