The triple aim initiative is the initiative of the IHI (institute of healthcare improvement).

The major objective was to develop or design a framework to optimize the health system performance in the healthcare industry, focusing on the major 3 prospects:

1. By improving the overall patient experience during the care with utmost quality and satisfaction.

2. By improving the cumulative health of the populations.

3. Finally by reducing the per capita cost of the set health care.

Thus by this integrated approach the objectives of the triple aim initiatives are followed in the health care improvement system.
