Answer #1

There are three competing perspectives on quality measures. That is purchasers, patients, and health care professionals.
Purchaser: They are financially responsible. The purchaser will evaluate the value of services for quality measures. purchasers should be evaluating treated even for underuse of services for the quality outcome.
Patients: Patient needs to be fulfilled as per their expectations. In advanced technology, patients are expecting more from health care providers. It may differ according to the purchaser and health care providers. Limited access to care valued by the purchaser with cost control makes a negative view by patients.
Physician: Medical malpractice due to poor clinical practice guidelines can reduce the health outcome and quality measures for patients. It affects patients physical, emotional and social functioning.
