Answer: In the healthcare organization quality means the methods of the treatment used to bring out positive result. The safety means the proper way of the treatment and care delivered to the patients and protecting them from any kind of harm. The feedback from the patientspatients, the quality of the care provided to the patients as well as the readmission rates provides the measures of the quality and safety.

Patient have different views on the safety and quality as most of the people expect more form the healthcare professionals. Sometimes healthcare professionals can't meet the expectations of the patients.

Achieving zero error in the healthcare is difficult because minor error occurs in most of the healthcare practices. The errors can't be completely removed but the frequency can be decreased.

The healthcare organization faces many challenges such as:

  • Providing quality of care to the patients.
  • Providing safe environment
  • Providing cultural competence environment.

The quality of care can be provided by eliminating the risk of medical errors, negligence as well as malpractice. This will reduce the negative impact and hence elevation of the treatment can be achieved.
