Answer #1

The elevation in creatine kinase-3 (MM) and Lactate dehydrogenase (LD) indicates that muscles are involved. The CK-1 (BB) is involved with the brain, CK-2 (MB) involved with the heart. Serum lactate is monitored to check the muscle activity after heavy exercises. Option c is the correct answer.

Monitoring for serum myoglobin (Mb) after thrombolytic therapy showed the most sensitivity of successful reperfusion. Studies showed that serum myoglobin can be seen in 15 minutes after thrombolytic therapy whereas other biochemical markers took more than 30 minutes to appear in the serum. Option a is the correct answer.
