Answer #1

The wrist (forearm) fracture in which the radius and ulna are forced in a volar direction is called a Smith fracture. In this type of fracture, the palm is turned inwards whereas, in Coles fracture the palm is turned outwards. In de Quervain fracture the scaphoid bone is fractured and in bowler fracture, the vertebral column is involved and it is also called as a lumbar stress fracture.
