IN 1997 The Balanced Budget Act established the MedPAC.This was passed to assess,control, interpret and make necessary changes in the Private Medicare .It consist of 17 members looking in to the healthcare service and the financial status.There will be renewal of commissioners after every there years once.

The main role of it is

• To submit its reports in the US Congress
