2) It is an acute inflammation of conjunctiva membrane of the eye.

3) Conjunctivitis is a contagious disease so she can not go and interact with

    patient and newborn before taking appropriate treatments.

4) Treatment for conjunctivitis.

          * Antibiotic ointment and eye drops for bacterial conjunctivitis.

              Eg; Moxifloxacin,Sufacetamine sodium,polytrim).

          *Steroid therapy for reducing inflammation.

              Eg; Prednisolone eye drops.

          * Application of cold packs for reducing eye pain and swelling.
