Answer: Nursing is a life long learning profession where the nurses not only take care of the patients but also improve the quality of care that is being delivered to the patients. Nurses plays various roles in the healthcare system and enhances the healthcare organizations quality.

The nursing profession involves many roles such as nurse educator, nurse advocates, public health nurse etc. They mainly focus on the health concern of the people. They also create awareness among people to stay healthy. The Florence Nightingale in 1854 has decided to serve patients and become nurse. The Nightingale believed that a well educated women along with the application of scientific knowledge can serve and help to cure patients.
