* Difference between Graves disease and Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

          * Graves disease.

                 It occurs mainly due to the inflammation of thyroid gland which results

                 in production of excessive amount of thyroid hormones or hyperthyroidism.

          * Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

               If the hyperthyroidism or graves disease occur due to thyroiditis affect the patient

               in a prolonged period of time results in thyroid cell damages and leads to an underactive

               thyroid or hypothyroidism state is called hashimoto's disease.
