Answer: There are many environmental factors which affects and increases risk to normal fetal and child development as the increased pollution such as air pollution has cause lung development. This causes damaged to the lungs of the fetus due to excessive air pollution. Teratogens causes major risk and causes birth defects in the child such as low birth weight, abnormal brain development as well as breathing problems.
