Clinical education is the one of the major part of nursing profession . Having simultaneous training on practical and theoretical knowledge is the key elements of nursing . Giving more priority to clinical skills . Clinical education makes the base of our nursing practice . Even we can say that one can survive with clinical experience if he or she don't know the theroitical part in a mild way .
It has an major impact on me . Having experience in clinical education is itself an honour . It has helped me to know what is evidence based practice and how to imply it in my daily practice because of which i have emerged overall as an person . It helped me to know more about the medical ethics ,what professionalism is ? , how to interact with other healthcare members , what are the communication skills etc
I have been posted in Medical ICU , there we used to use evidence based practice along with nursing process . We used to have a good communication skills with the other healthcare members . Therapeutic communication skills were used with the patients and healthcare team . Followed the policies and rules of the organization like patient safety policies , ethical policies that has to be dealth with the patient will providing care . Many research were done to upgrade the patient care . Use of electronic health record to keep the health data of patients safe and mainatined for long years . Also it helped to spend more time in patient care rather than on paper work . It has made the complex system smooth . All these helped to update and upgrade in health filed also has improved the reputation of the organization .
