Besides rating number one in cost it stands at 26th place when it comes to quality care.This is something which can make one to think twice why it is happening besides high medical expenditure.This can also raise concern whether to access these type of care without a good quality care.After thorough investigations and scrutiny it has been identified that it is because of the high medical waste, increased spending on physician visits, hospitalizations, expensive new therapies, high cost spent on invention of new drugs,etc.,Hence the current health policy has focused mainly on cost rather than the quality .
