The demand for health services are elastic because most of the people are insured so they are not aware of the cost of the medical supplies available, not bothered much about the medical expenses.In most cases they are inelastic when it comes to price or the economic status in overall.The demand doesn't depends on health status, physician practice or due to health insurance coverage apart from the cost .Demand is something the people are in need or shortage of the products.
