Answer #1

No7. Ans-  False

decontaminate hand means remove, inhibit or kill microorganisms or harmful substances from your hand.

Alcohol-based hand rubs is a very good decontaminate, which have a lot of use in the hospital sector. 60% alcohol hand rub can kill antibiotic-resistant bacteria, more concentrated alcohol hand rub can also kill many viruses.

if your hand is not visible soil or you are not directly exposed to patient body fluids or blood its better to use hand rub. so, the above answer will be false.

No8. Ans - False

Standard precaution is otherwise known as Universal precaution. It is designed to control infection and break the chain of infection by using barrier methods like the use of Personal protective equipment (gloves, gown, goggles), Hand hygiene, Proper disposal of infected waste, etc.

Above statement is false because of we dont need to wear gloves before touching any patient, if the patient has an infectious disease, if we are going to expose with the body fluid, blood, saliva, wound then only we have to wear gloves.
