Many patients who have been receiving these medications (over a number of years) insists that it does more harm than good? Based on this documentary, societal influence, etc do you agree/disagree? Answer: There is a specific relationship betweenental illness and drug abuse specially those people who suffers from mental illness such as depression or stress. These people are highly addicted to drug abuse. Due to excessive stress people tends to consume more alcohol or drug abuse. This causes sedative affects on their brain which make them free from thoughts and tension. But the drug addiction or the drug abuse worsen the mental condition and lowers the thinking ability.

Pharmaceutical companies spends lots of money on advertising their products for the sale. These pharmaceutical companies manipulates the product advertisement as they only attract the people and children by describing the benefits or the advantage. These companies doesn't shows the other side of the coin. There are major health concerns more than benefits of these drugs.

Of course, the medications provide less benefits and causes more harm. This is because those products which have both benefits and demerits. But these companies enforce only the positive points nad doesn't explain about the side effects that are being caused by the use of the drugs.
