Answer #1

Ordered dose of morphine sulfate - 2mg

Available dose of morphine is gr 1/6 per ml

Means available 1ml of drug has gr1/6

gr 1/6 = 10mg

10 mg of morphine is available in 1ml

We have to give 2mg to the patient

Using unitary method :-

10mg is available in 1ml

1 mg will be present in 1/10ml

Then 2 mg will be present in 1/10× 2

= 1/5 ml should be given to the patient
