Answer: Depression is one of the result of improper lifestyle. Being alone is also of the reason which causes depression and make the condition more worse. People not taking proper food results into lack of nutrition which causes body to become more prone to many of the diseases. Gastrointestinal tract disturbance is one of the problem which is due to depression.
People suffering from depression have digestive system problem which causes low absorption of nutrients. Older people should not live alone, they should engage themselves in some of the activities which can help them to overcome with the problem. It can be also improved through meditation as well as yoga. Meditation provides peace and relaxation of mind.
