Answer:Psychological stress commonly thought of as the great modern disease because the present population is suffering from mental stress due to various reasons. Some of the factors which causes stress are:

  • Socioeconomic status
  • Poverty
  • Excessive workload
  • Physical chronic disease
  • Depression.

Due to these problems most of the people are suffering from mental illness, some of them are suffering from depression and out of them most people do not know about the mental disease.

Stress is a condition which lead to abnormal functioning of brain which also effects behavior, thinking ability etc. The major difference between the stress outside and stress inside is that the stress outside is due to environmental factors such as changes that occurs in life. The stress inside is due to chronic illness etc.
