Answer #1

I have a chlorpromazine bottle 25 mg/ml

So 25 mg present in 1 ml

And we need to find how much ml contains 40 mg chlorpromazine because dose ordered is 40 mg IV q4h

1 mg present in 1/25 ml

40 mg present in 40/25 ml

The answer is 1.6 ml

Hence 1.6 ml i will infuse every 4 hours if the patient is vomiting
