1)Radical prostatectomy is a surgery to remove the prostate gland and some of the tissue around it.It usually includes the seminal vesicles and some nearly lymph nodes.It can cure prostate cancer in men whose cancer is limited to prostate.

2)Reason for this procedure:-

a)The main goal of radical prostatectomy is to remove all prostate cancer and some tissue around to gland including seminal vesicles.

b)Inability to completely empty the bladder.

C) Recurrent bleeding from prostate.

d)Very slow urination

3)Level of urgency :-Some patient get sudden urges to urinate that are hard to ignore(Urinary urgency) and a small number men leak urine before they can reach the toilet(urge incontinence)

Degree of risks:-

a)Erectile dysfunction:- It is common after prostatectomy.

b)Bleeding after operation.

c)Urinary leak

d)Groin hernia

4)Deep Vein Thrombosis treatment includes:-

a) Blood thinners: - DVT is commonly treated with anticoagulants.These drugs can be injected or taken as pills which will decrease blood ability to clot.They don't break up existing blood clots but they can prevent clots from getting bigger and reducing risk of developing more clots.

Ex:-- Heparin(IV), Warfarin(Pills)

b)Compression stockings:- It helps to prevent swelling associated with deep vein thrombosis which are worn on feet about the level of knee.
