Integument system is a system which protects the body from damages.

Integument system include skin, nails, hair, glands and nerves

Disorders associated with integument system are

Eczema.

It is an allergic raction in which skin patches becomes dry and itchy and they resemble rashes.It severe causes bleeding is seen.

It may be triggered by environmental factors such as pollen and some people may trigger this by eating food items such as diary and nuts.

There is no cure but symptoms can be treated by using immunosupressants and corti steroid creams.

ACNE.

It mostly occurs where sebaceous glands are present such as face and back.When hair follicles ,sebum and skin become as a clump and forms a plug and bacteria such as staphylococcus and propionibacterium causes infection.Severe acne causes scarring

Treatment include change of diet use of oral antibiotics and tetracycline is used to control acne.

VITILIGO.

It is a disease in which people loses skin colour in blotches.It may occur in any part of body.It is due to the death of melanin producing cells die.It is not contagious.

Treatment include Restoration of skin colour but it cannot stop the loss of skin color or reoccurance.
