Decline stage of the product life cycle: is a fall or plummet, in the product life cycle, the decrease stage speaks to comparable conduct for items. The decline arrange in the product life cycle is the point at which an item disintegrates because of diminished or negative development. This negative development is mainly due to reduced additional benefit from any product. Main reasons for such behavior is new development and technological changes.

One such product that is facing the declining stage in product life cycle is Typewriter.

Typewriter grew in popularity because of its efficiency in writing. But very soon it was replaced by a completely different set of product i.e. a typing board and printer. The sales are drastically down, which is because of presence of superior products in same category.

One turn around idea for the typewriter can be promote it as a typing learning equipment and integrating it with the laptops and desktops as an additional panel which can help in improving the typing speed.
