ACC Question 10 12.5 pts Provide a numerical answer A client has in its sending buffer these equal sized segments with sequence numbers 15, 25, 35,45, 55 65, and 75. Based on congestion control and flow control, its offered window is 40 bytes. So far, the client sent segments with Sequence numbers 15, 25, and 35. The highest acknowledgement it received is 45 This client could send up to new byte(s). (Answer -1 if the client cannot send anymore new segments). Answer #1

Assuming window size is fixed.for all questions

Question 10:

This client could send up to "40" new bytes

Explanation because Acknowledgement received 45 ,wnidow size is 40 bytes ,so,it has next 45,55,65,75 to send

if in case Acknowledgement received is 55,then it can send up to 30 bytes only 55,65,75.

Question 11:

The next segment that the client cloud send is segment with sequence numbers to 25,35,45 .

Explanation :

Window size is 30 bytes.first time client send the sequence number 15,25,35 and

client received Acknowledgement 25 we can clear notice that 25,35 sequence number are lost due to congestion control or flow control ,window size is 30 bytes its starts sending from 25,35,45

Question 12

This client cloud send up to 3 new segments

Explanation :first time segments with sequence numbers 15,25,35 Acknowledgement received 45

windows size is 30 bytes ,it can send next new segments with sequence numbers 45,55,65. that total is 3.
